Kosher Trucking

I read this article with interest because I knew that if I read it carefully, I was sure to find another example of the OU creating a money-making scam. I started reading and I felt ashamed. It was an interesting article with no mention of anything that could bring in additional revenue for the Jewish Mafia. But fear not, gentle reader, your intrepid blogger pressed on and found EXACTLY what he was looking for.

Because of these issues [a bunch of techinicalities which seem insanely picayune to me], a kosher trailer can only be washed at a kosher certified truck wash. The truck wash must not recycle its water, must have a one pass system and must use, in its smallest wash cycle, a volume of water that is at least 60 times the volume of metal in the spinner system.

And there you have it. “Your truck wash has to pay us money so that kosher trucks can be washed here. You want kosher trucks, don’t you pal? Shmulie here will be by every Sunday to make his pickup.”
