New York City’s Worst Landlords - Top Ten List

If being on this list doesn’t epitomize chillul hashem then I don’t know what does. It is bad enough for anyone to be a bad landlord. But in this day and age of information transparency, if you call yourself Moishe Beilush, you better watch your ass. I love the Jewish people. I moved to Israel in order to ensure that my children will have a Jewish future. These disgraces might as well hand out flyers with anti-semtitic cartoons in Times Square for the ammount of “bad press” this kind of thing gives us.

If the Jewish community had any pride and honesty whatsoever, these men would be completely ostracized. Being the kind of landlord that ends up on this list means that you worship the almighty dollar more than you value human dignity. If that isn’t avodat cochavim than all of our tradition is worthless. The Jewish community should take a stand against people like this. They should be banned from their respective synogogues and their homes should be considered completely treif. Spiritually if not literally. let the holy Rabbis who love to put dilligent scholars in cheirem send out the papers on these clowns! That would be something.

This sickens me.
