Israel Homeowner Launches
December 7, 2005 |
My friends, Aharon and Shefa Weinstein, have launched a great new website called Israel Homeowner. My wife, editor extraordinaire, edited much of the site. So go on, check it out.
From the site:
Israel Homeowner is an exciting new online resource for English speakers on building, buying, selling, renovating and repairing homes in Israel. It is the only site of its kind, providing in-depth information for people who want to learn more about real estate in Israel. The website is user-friendly, technologically advanced and entirely free for users. Visit the site to read articles, view properties for sale, do money calculations, and speak with others for support and advice.

The only question no one asks,
Why in his name would English speakers in Israel need their own homeowner-website?
The kombina is the same kombina, the shipotznikim are the same shipotznikim. If anything, new Olim to Israel from English-Speaking countries would learn a lot more if they ask Israelis how things work around here and lose their patronizing and navie attitude well behind. Having said all that, the site looks great and the editor extraordinaire did a great job..
