What happened to the committee members?
September 28, 2005 |
From the article titled, Legalizing TA stripclubs ires women’s groups, this cracks me up:
Meshy told The Jerusalem Post that the municipality’s decision to grant a license to one strip club set a positive precedent, since the decision stemmed from a desire to protect the public from potential health and safety hazards.
Meshy said in addition to the club in question, located on Allenby Street, he believed that there were no more than three or four similar clubs currently operating in the city. He added that the decision to grant the license followed inspection by a committee of municipality members, including deputy mayors Arnon Giladi (Likud) and Doron Sapir (Labor).
“Honey, I have to stay late at work tonight. We have a committee meeting again. I probably won’t be home till late.”
